Waiting until Ezral was out of sight, Cynthya quickly turned to Le Mime, who had the key in his hand. Smiling sweetly, Cynthya asked her tall companion, "Hey, Hakkuro...Can I see the key for a few minutes?"

IC: Le Mime barely caught the key, fumblin it a bit. "Hey, give a warnin before you toss thingz at me, Chief!" he pouted and looked down at the room number and saw Cynthya facin him.
"Hmm, callin me by my name now? What're you plannin, kid?" he said, tossin the key up in the air then catchin it, wavin it above the chemist out of her reach and grinnin.

OOC: :3 Black market power yo!

IC:

Cynthya pouted and made puppy eyes. "I'm not planning to do anything with the key Hakkuro...'cept get some of those reitos Boss Man paid back, or maybe get a better room." she said, trying to act as cute as she could. She even batted her eyelashes for some good measure.

IC: "Geeze, you're actin like my cat." he rolled his eyez and dropped the key in her hand. "Knock yourself out, Thee. Ezral did say to do what we want" He sighed and dropped his bagz down. "I just want someplace to dump these buggerz."

IC:

Cynthya grinned, the key in her hand. "Awww, thanks for the key Mimers. You're so awesome," she chirped and skipped over to the counter and started to talk to the generic man in the front. After a few minutes of talking quickly, Cynthya went back to Le Mime, with 4 reitos in hand.

"Let's go up to the room, drop off everything, and look at some hoverblades, my dear friend!"

IC: "I don't kno how you do it." he smiled as Cynthya came back with the 4 reitos. The mime picked up his bagz again and started walkin twordz their room. "Gladly. All your talk on those thingz makez me want a pair."

OOC: XD Cynthya is pretty manipulative.

IC:
Ezral was having no luck. Though that's to be expected, as all he was asking was "Have you heard anything about a stolen painting?"
He walked up to a civilian and asked the question again, expecting the same response of "I don't know." However, this civilian responded, "If you're looking for stolen things, you can always find them on the black market." Ezral had not tohught of these. After thanking the civilian, he ran off towards the black market. Maybe he would finally get some information!

OOC: :3 Cynthya knows how to handle her money and connections is all.

IC:

"It better! If we all got a pair of hoverblades, we'd be able to travel a whole lot quicker on foot and we'd also be able to do much more while in combat!" Cynthya excitedly chattered, "But it really all depends on where we get them." They stood in front of the door to their room and she unlocked it. Opening the door, Cynthya concluded, "We could go for the standard ones on the regular market or we could go to the black market and get special customizations and the like!"

IC:
Ezral found himself in the black market. Didn't look to shady. It looked just like a market. The key was to finding the right person. There were many vendors specializing in one type of item, and there were those who had all types. Ezral found one who specialized in paintings.
"Hey, I'm looking for a certain painting that was stolen," said Ezral.
"Well, what does it look like?" the vendor said. Ezral stopped ot think. THe woman had not told him that.
"Damn that woman!" he shouted aloud, turning away from the vendor. "How am I supposed to retrieve her painting if- wait, I know!" Ezral turned back to the vendor. "Do you know of any paintings that have arrived recently? Like, in a day?"
The vendor thought for a second. "Well, I know one, but it was bought by someone..."
Ezral grabbed the merchant. "Tell me who!" he demanded.
"Hey, not so rough. He's actually a regular customer. His name is Renatus. His house is in the south part of the city."
"Thanks!' Ezral said. "I better find those friends of mine. Who knows how this Renatus will react?" And so, Ezral left the market, looking for Cynthya and Le Mime.

IC: "Why don't you use your thief skillz and steal some for us?" Le Mime laughed. He dropped the bagz down with a sigh of relief and let the cat go wander around the room. The mime watched it run around the room a bit then averted his attention to Cynthya. "Should we head off now then?"

IC:
Ezral walked around the city, thinking of where his friends were. "Le Mime still has the key, so I might as well check our room," he muttered to himself.
He walked toward the inn, thinking of what was going to happen when they met Renatus in his mansion. Would he just give us the painting? Would he be violent? Did he even have the right painting? This was all he could think of at the moment.
"Well, here's the inn." Ezral opened the door and stepped into the lobby.

IC:

"I can't steal hoverblades," Cynthya groaned as they started to head out of the room, "I'm too small of a person to carry around a pair without being spotted and get caught." Closing the door and locking it, Cynthya tossed the key at Le Mime.

"C'mon, let's go get us some hoverblades!"

IC:

Ezral walked towards the mercenaries room, expecting Le Mime to be inside and Cynthya off doing whatever she wants. As he walked towards the room, he saw the two other mercenaries standing outside, talking about stealing hoverblades or whatnot.
"Who's stealing hoverblades now?" Ezral said as we walked up to the two.

IC: "Ahk!" the mime dropped the key as Cynthya tossed it to him, turnin to Ezral who had surprised him. "No no no, I was only kiddin, no one'z stealin hoverbladez" he laughed it off, wavin his hand.
"Oh! How'd it go with the paintin?"

IC:
"I THINK I have a lead on that painting. Someone named Renatus lives in the south. I came here to get you guys so we could go to the mansion," said Ezral. "Since I don't know how he'll react, we should go prepared. Do you guys have your weapons, or whatever else you need?"

IC: Le Mime held out his handz and shrugged. "I have whatever weaponz you have." He nudged Cynthya in the side lightly and smiled. "Guess we'll check out those hoverbladez later, kid."

IC:

"Awwwww...." Cynthya sighed as the aspect of getting the hoverblades were going farther away. "The quicker we get paid for this job, the more of a chance we get ourselves a pair of hoverblades!" She looked up to her two companions. "So I say we should stock up on food again and make sure we have weapons Mimesy can use~"

IC:
"I don't think we need food, he lives close to the city. It will only take an hour or so," Ezral said as he picked up the key from the ground.
Ezral then entered the room, and came out with some weapons, handing them to Le Mime.
"Well, let's go."
Ezral locked the room and put the key in his pocket, and walked out of the inn, the other two in tow, heading off towards the mansion.

IC: Hakkuro pouted, attached the sword to his belt and trudged off, spinnin the knivez in his hand. "Why does this sword have to be so heavy, chief!"

IC:

"Because Boss Man likes to use his magic to make himself stronger?" Cynthya said mischieviously as they walked on the side of the road going south. "But you can handle using those knives right? It won't be too hard or anything?" she addressed the mime, "I'd let you use my dagger but I only keep one on me at a time."

IC:
"Hey, I can carry my sword without doing that," said Ezral. "In case you forgot, Le Mime, you picked that sword out yourself."
The three walked out of the city, as the gates were open, and walked south until they reached a mansion.
"This is probably the place." Ezral knocked on the door. No answer. Ezral knocked again, louder this time. Still no response. He tried to open it, but it was locked.
"I really don't want to wait for him to get back. Wanna pick some locks, Thee?" he asked the thief.

IC:

Cynthya nodded at Ezral. "Sure thing boss man." She stepped up to the door and crouched, looking eye-level at the lock intently.

"You'd think the guy would have a servant or someone to open the door..." Cynthya said as she started to work on the door. After trying to open the door the correct way again, she rummaged through her satchell and got out a lockpick and started poking at the lock.

A moment passed until a soft click was heard. Cynthya grinned at it and stood up to her full height. "And it is open, my dear friends. We should tread carefully though, just in case."

IC: "Only so it'd match your sword more!" Hakkuro gave the knifez one last twirl then shoved them in his belt next to the sword. "These knivez are fine. If anythin, I'll just watch you usin your dagger. No sweat." he patted Cynthya on the head.

Le Mime watched Cynthya pick at the lock. "Maybe his servent dosesn't like openin doorz~" he laughed.

The mime smiled. "Another job well done, Thee!"

IC:
"Thanks, Thee." Ezral pushed the door open, revealing a grand lobby with a tall staircase in the middle. The walls were dotted with paintings and the room itself had various couches.
"So I guess we're stealing a painting. Of course, we don't know which one it is." Ezral sighed. "This mansion probably has paintings everywhere. I suppose we could just grab them all, but that'd be too noticable. Okay, let's split up and look for any paintings that look..uh...family-memento-esque," Ezral said as he walked up the staircase.

IC: "Plus it'z not like we can carry them all," he looked around at all the wallz. " Geeze, there'z gotta be millionz if this is just the first floor." Hakkudo skipped into the next room which seemed to be the dinin room. Again, the wallz were sprinkled with paintingz. "Hmm maybe in here." he said to himself, walkin along the wallz of the room, examinin each paintin.
