OOC: FINE I'LL ADVANCE THE PLOT! GEEZ.

IC:
"All right, if everyone agrees." Ezral stood up and walked out of the building, waving goodbye to the bartender, with his friends in tow.
"So, what's the plan? We're going home?" Ezral asked the rest of the mercenaries. "And after that, we go back to the black market? Geez, this day has been basically lots of walking and talking," the mage said with a sigh.

OOC: XDD I've posted too much as a newb in the group, you're the leader, dude :B phear Jupiter's lack of understanding of personal space 8'D;;;

IC: Jupiter got up and bouncily followed the rest of the group, waving goodbye to everyone in the tavern regardless of whether or not she actually met them. Yeah, that'll help the free food cause...

"So wait," She asked Ezral, not quite sure what was going on, "Where ARE we going?" She looked around and latched onto his arm. "Don't leave me behind~!" She pouted, and resolved to not stop to pick anything up on the way to wherever they were going.

OOC: I'm confused, Home as in the inn or home as in the mansion? :0 Cuz...that'd be more that walkin XD Sailin n stuff yo~

IC: Hakkuro plucked Jupiter off Ezral'z arm. "We're goin back to our 'headquarterz'~" he said to the bouncy pink haired girl. He then remembered the opened window when he got there. "Hey, Ezzy, did you or Thee leave the window opened at the inn? Cuz when I got there it was wide opened.."

OOC: XD well we have to get our stuff, right?

IC:
"Considering I never went in the room, I don't think I did it." The mage said as they reached the inn. "Okay, so you think the girl will be waiting at our headquarters? I like that idea! That way we can just chill out!" Ezral gave Hakkuro a thumbs up an entered the inn, with the mercenaries in tow.
"Okay then, we have to pack our stuff. Do we have enough food? I don't want to be forced to eat any of you on the way home." Ezral said as they arrived in front of the room.

OOC: Hakkuro: I CAN'T FIND MY CAT D8 WHO HAS MY CAT?!

IC: "That'z odd...and I'm pretty sure my cat can't open it.... Hey Ez, what if someone tried to break in and take the paintin?" he said as he rummaged throu his pocket for the key.

OOC: Ezral: What'd you think the meat in the basket was? Cow?

IC:
"Then I'll light them on fire and watch them run around burning for bugging me," Ezral said, "now open up the door already.
As Hakkuro opened the door, the mercenaries saw a figure inside.
"What the-oh, you GOTTA be kidding me. Dammit Mimesy, why'd you have to go and say that?" Ezral sighed. "Well, here goes nothing. Let's go, guys."
The figure stood up in shock, and attempted to jump out the window. "Oh NO you don't! I do not want to chase another annoying thief around." Ezral cast an ice spell and froze the figure to the floor, who tried to get out of the ice.

OOC: Hakkuro: .....D':!!!!! (Wait, there was meat in there an all we ever took outta the basket was bread? XD)

IC: "Wha- WHY ARE YOU BLAMIN ME?!" the mime shouted back at the mage and rollin his eyez as he drew out a throwin knife rather his huge sword that he probably would've just smacked his own comrade in the face with.

OOC: Thya: I forgot there was meat in the basket...No wonder why there hasn't been a lot of mention of cat lately!

IC:

"Somehow I think you jinxed it by mentioning the open window Mimesy," Cynthya said, drawing her dagger and opening her pack for a vial of paralyzing poison. She took a glance around the room, looking for the painting.

OOC: nuuu eatin kitty D8 Jupiter had it in her pocket XDD

IC: Jupiter grabbed onto Hakkuro's arm after being pulled off Ezral's, placidly listening to her comrades argue, enjoying it more than she should have, and followed them to the inn.

"Heeey this place looks familiar..." She mumbled, tripping over the mess she'd made earlier.

OOC: Okee XD Tineh cat iz tineh

IC: "Oh c'mon this totally wasn't my fault!" he said back to Cynthya, runnin to the bed he placed the paintin on. As he saw it was no longer there he turned back to look at the theif. "It must be in that bag he has!"

OOC: Huge pockets are gonna eat the cat... better fix that 8'D

IC: Jupiter stood up and dusted herself off, reaching for her dagger.
"Umm...." She groped at her side and couldn't find it, so she pulled something furry out of her pocket and threw it at the thief to keep him from struggling.
"...Sorry kitty!" She yelled to the cat as it landed on the thief's face.

OOC: XD Wow very tiny cat. : D Maybe we mistook it for bread!

IC:
"Okay, give me the bag you stupid thief." Ezral said as drew his sword.
"N-never! I'm gonna make millions offa this here paintin'!" the thief said in a gruff voice.
"You know what, I'm done being nice." The mage snapped his fingers and the thief's head lit on fire.
"AHHH! EET BURNZ!" THe thief threw the bag at the mage. "TAKE IT! JUST PUT THIS OUT!"
"I don't think so," the mage said, laughing as he watched the thief suffer.
(And the cat too! ;D)

OOC: No XD Instead it has been mistaken for a dagger XD

IC: Le Mime chucked a dagger at the mage, hittin him in the head with the handle side. "Dammit Ezzy, put the fire out you psycho or you owe me another cat!" He took the bag with the paintin. "Sidez, why don't we ask him what'z up with this paintin"

OOC: XD Yes. And now it's almost on fire.

IC:
"Oka-OW! Dammit Hakkuro," Ezral exclaimed, catching the dagger and tossing it back to Le Mime. (rather forcefully.)
"FINE, I'll put out the fire..." Ezral snapped his fingers again and a torrent of water fell on the thief, quenching the flames and getting the cat all wet.
"Now then, oh thiefy, what's up with this painting?" Ezral said as he leaned towards the thief in a sly manner.
"I'LL NEVER TELL YOU!" The thief shouted and took out a knife which he thrust at Ezral. Ezral sidestepped, and the thief broke the ice with a small bomb he had dropped earlier.
"Now I'm gonna get you guys! Gimme my paintin!"
"It's OUR painting! We stole it first! Get him, Luminous Mercenaries!"

IC: "Ahk! Chief!" the mime dodged the dagger, watchin it wedge into the wall behind him.
The cat leaped off the thief and ran twordz Hakkuro, jumpin up into his armz. He dried it off a bit, quickly, then placed it into one of his pocketz.
Hakkuro reached back and unlodged his dagger from the wall and gave it a little twirl in his hand. "Bring it on, Theify!"


OOC: Cynthya'z been idle the whole fight, we should wait XD;

OOC: Poor kitty XDDDD;;

IC: "Yessir~! ♥" The assassin chased after the thief, pulling other things out of her pocket and throwing them at him. She tugged out a few small throwing stars and flung them at his feet, grazing his heel enough to draw a small amount of blood.

"Gaaaah, I missed...."

OOC: You guys really should IM me or something when posting is happening. XD;;;

IC:

Cynthya's eyes widened at the thought of someone else making money off of the painting. "There's no snowball's chance in hell that you're gonna make money off that painting before me you idiot!"

Quickly uncorking a vial of a paralyzing potion and putting a couple of drops onto her dagger, Cynthya lunged forward and took a slash at the thief, drawing a tiny bit of blood around his forearm.

OOC: orz oopz XD;;


IC: Hakkuro followed Cynthya'z lead and lunged foward at the theif. He took two slashez at him, one missin, the other slicin across his chest but not deep.

IC:
"N-NO!" the thief yelled and threw bombs and knives everywhere, before the poison started to spread.
"Oh crap! Guys, duck! I'll put up a shield!" Ezral ducked and tried to create a barrier, but the knives were too fast and one stuck into Ezral's shoulder, breaking his concentration.
"OW! DAMN IT!" Ezral took out his sword with his other arm and blocked another knife. "Watch out for the bombs!"

IC: Jupiter shrieked and kicked one of the bombs as hard as she could, causing it to fly out the window and detonate away from anyone. "Eeeeek~!" She kicked at another one, this one towards the thief, hitting the fuse with her shoe and singeing a hole in the tip of her boot. "I hope HE can handle explosions~! ♥ ..Ow.."

IC:
The bomb flew towards the thief and exploded, hitting the thief easily, as he could no longer move. The explosion caused the thief to fall over and land on the floor, wounded.
"Tch. I think this guy'll think twice before trying to steal again." The mage put his sword to the thief's throat and bent down to eye level.
"Okay, thief. Why did you want the painting?"
"I-I-I had been following you guys after you took out my colleague in the mansion. I was going to sell the map and the painting pieces."
"So you don't know anything?"
"N-no."
"Ugh. Useless." Ezral sheathed his sword and grabbed the thief.
"Might as freeze you to a tree. I'm too nice too kill you." Ezral jumped out the window and, indeed, froze the thief to a tree. He also wrote a nice note, in case the thief tried ot lie his way out of imprisonment if someone saw him.
"Well, let's get packing, guys."

IC:

"We're leaving already? Can we sell the pieces to the black market?" Cynthya asked Ezral. "Or at least buy some hoverblades?"

IC:
"Sell the pieces? I don't know... What if we need them?"
Ezral thought about something for a second. "BUT, if we DID go to the black market, we could get information about this map. And possibly get hoverblades." Ezral turned to the group. "Anything you guys particularly want from the black market. I suppose I could spare SOME of our funds if we went. We could get a sovuenir or something."

IC: "Cynthya really got me into wantin some hoverbladez, Chief." the mime said with a smile. "Can I also get some new weaponz?" he asked, returnin his daggerz to their position on his belt.

IC:
"All right. I suppose you'll want a lighter sword, right? Well, let's go." Ezral jumped out the window because he was way too cool for doors. He waited for the other to come out to, and walked towards the black market once they caught up with him.
When they arrived at the black market, Ezral threw them a small bag of coins. "Here. That should be enough for some hoverblades and weapons. I added a little extra in case Jupiter wanted something. Well, I'm going to go question people alone, unless someone wants to come with me." Ezral started walking off, leaving the rest of the mercenaries to go buy things.
