"Wait up!" Enric called. So maybe Ruyine seemed a little too quick to trust, Enric couldn't help but prefer to follow him, at least for now. He looked back at Elleron and offered an easygoing grin, "I'll get him back here." Or just stick with him, whichever.

Ruyine ignored Enric's call, shaking his head as he walked in a huff through town. He really should be going to the next town anyway. There were always jobs that needed to be done that were the fastest way to get gold.

Not to mention, truth be told, he was a little wary of the bar's hunting posters. If word got out about what he was doing at night, he would be hunted down for being what he was. Full werebeast or not.

Elleron sighed and payed for all of their food before walking over to the board with all the Hunting Posters. A lot of them weren't even touched because they needed high ranking guildsmen or a well equipped party. One that did catch his eye made him slightly sad.

"Half Werebeast on the loose... Reward 100,000 Gil..." The half-viera muttered, yanking the poster off of the board and shoving it in his pocket so he could deal with it later. He too was on the Hunting posters once, mainly because he was a male viera... even if he was half Hume.

Shaking his head, Elleron headed after the other two though it took him awhile to spot them.

Even with Ruyine ignoring them, Enric caught up easily. For being a runt, he could run fast. "Wait up," he said again. He pouted a little bit, unintentionally.

Ruyine stopped and turned around, hearing Enric's heavy breathing long before he approached him thanks to his advanced hearing.

"Oh...it's you. What do you want?" He said a little colder than he meant to.

Enric opened his mouth to speak and then he shrugged. "Dunno. I wanted to follow you?" In retrospect it was kind of a dumb thing to do; Elleron was the one who was potentially giving him a job. All the same...he felt like he should follow Ruyine, maybe call him back.

"You wouldn't want to follow me, kid. I'm nothing but trouble." Ruyine stated simply.

Elleron was noticed yet again by some guards who had spotted him and started chasing after him. "Crap!" The half-viera shouted, looking behind him and running though that was soon stopped for he ended up running into Ruyine much like he was run into about an hour ago.

Ruyine froze for a moment as he watched his necklace go flying off and then felt his werebeast side coming out. Since this wasn't a planned transformation to feed it, he had no time to take his clothes off before they got ripped to shreds. His dagger belt slipped off his hips and went onto the ground along with his necklace.

He grew to four times his human-like size, letting out a blood thirsty howl as the transformation was completed.

The creature that once was Ruyine flexed out its dragon wings and clawed at the ground before charging blindly at Enric, not really caring what it ate at this point because it was so hungry.

Enric yelped, running away without any particular thought to direction, only knowing that something big and scary was after him. So much for his day looking up, now there was a fiend and it looked hungry. Why him? he groaned.

Scared witless, he grabbed onto a nearby wall hanging, pulling himself up onto the awning over a stall. Taking a deep breath, Enric moved onto the next awning, trying to get higher and away from the werebeast. Why had he followed? Enric cursed his own stupidity.

Fuck! So the thing on the hunting poster was him!

Elleron glanced down at the few bits of clothing still intact on the ground. Not wanting anyone to take them, he grabbed the belt and put it around his shoulder and the necklace in his pocket. Not to mention the necklace seemed like something important and being a pirate, he wanted to know what.

After that was all said and done, the half-viera started off in a full blown run after the huge monster that was heading deeper into the city. Thats one thing he didn't need. More people hurt. "HEY UGLY!"Elleron shouted.

The werebeast snapped its jaws at Enric's legs then perked up its ears, turning around as the half-viera got its attention.

"If you want something to eat then bite me!" Elleron bellowed in his most vicious voice he could manage. By now the civilians, and guards, were running for their lives.

Enric breathed a brief sigh of relief before realizing that it was Elleron distracting Ruyine. By all accounts he should be running away as fast as he could with the distraction, but for some reason (definitely not out of friendship, of course, he told himself) he felt like he couldn't leave Elle and Ruyine behind and he crouched on the rooftop, wondering what to do.

The dragon winged creature charged again, this time at the half-viera. With the werebeast's speed and power, it had dragged Elleron to the ground in no time in a strong pin hold.

The big wolven half-orc clawed and ripped open the Sky pirate's shirt, digging its talons into the flesh below.

All it needed to do was to impale Elleron's heart and then he would be dead. That would make eating its prey much easier than if it were alive.

Elleron didn't even have time to dodge the attack, though now he was clawing at the arm that was holding him down. Thrashing about, the half-viera's face was all ready stained with blood and tears.

"R-ruyine... s-stop!" Elleron gasped.

Enric glanced down and saw Elleron, all covered with blood, and his heart clenched. "Damn," he muttered before lying flat on the rooftop and waving at Elleron. "Hey!" he shouted, taking out a dagger with his free hand. "Lemme help!"

With astonishing accuracy, he threw the first dagger, aiming at the beast's shoulder and took out his second (now only) knife. He was going to get eaten, he realized. "I should've run."

Ruyine howled in pain and turned his attention to Enric, growling at the boy. The werebeast got off of Elleron and limped over to the small thief.

The creature was slower now because of the dagger in its left shoulder but it could still dash if it wanted to.

Enric would never admit to it if he lived, but when he saw the beast coming after him, he whimpered like a childling. Between childish whimpers, Enric cursed like a soldier, scrambling across the rooftop, unsure where to jump.

"Noo," he yelped. "No no no no no!" Where to go?

Elleron would later have to thank Enric for drawing the beast off of him because the beast form of Ruyine had been close to impaling his heart or lungs. With 10+ gashes on him, it was amazing that the half-viera was still conscious. Rolling his eyes around a bit he noticed that there was a throbbing in the pocket where he had the necklace.

Pulling it out, string first, Elleron looked at it. Managing to glance at Ruyine before looking back at the necklace and holding the stone in his hand before his arm fell back to the ground.

The creature stopped and glanced back at Elleron, seeing the necklace in his hand which caused the dragon winged black wolf to make a weak growl and limp over to the half-viera out of interest, nosing at his hand.

The hunger that had made it so angry didn't really matter now. It was losing blood fast thanks to the dagger in its shoulder. It wouldn't be long now before the werebeast fainted.

"S-so.... this is important..." The half-viera managed to cough out before opening his hand and slamming it right in the middle of Ruyines forehead.

Enric stopped dead in his tracks, cursing himself as he turned around. He should be doing what he always did and running away, but he scrambled down to the ground, squeezing through the crowd that was forming. His hands fumbled over his pockets as he searched for any potions, eventually fumbling over the pockets of others. No one noticed in the mess.

Ruyine changed back to his human-like form when the necklace slipped back on his neck on its own. The amulet was drawn to him naturally so it knew its owner well.

He frowned as he looked over Elleron, taking his hand in his and held back tears.

"It's all my fault...I'm sorry."

After that, the half-viera didn't say anything. He had passed out from the pain, shock, and lack of blood. Normally, even on pillaging runs, he was never hurt this bad. Elleron was now teetering between life or death, though for him it was worth it. No one else got hurt or killed. The half-viera laid there, bleeding, with a smirk on his face.
