Prisoners of Love [Rated R]

Charis sighed unhappily and sat down by Thor's bed, his chin perched on a corner of a mattress. He was uncharacteristically, almost eerily quiet as he stared unhappily at the boy. Thor hadn't wanted to feel like a tool and now this..

The boy could only hear the voices of Rokiri and Charis as if they were in a tunnel and he was at the other end of it. Thor felt like he was distant from everything, like he was clinging to life. Loki sat idly in the corner of his mind, seeing as he had taken the actual blows of what had happened.

Rokiri sighed and raised a gentle hand to stroke Thor's cheek, looking away. "I'm sorry..."

Charis inched a little closer, leaning his head against Thor's shoulder. He didn't want to see him like this; it was a nasty intrusion of Charis' view of the asylum. For him it was a playground until he saw things like this happen. He was self-absorbed but he wasn't stupid. "This isn't supposed to be how they try and fix us," he commentd. "Is it?"

"I'm afraid so, darling." Rokiri took Charis' hand in his, squeezing it lightly as he continued to stroke Thor's face.

Thor's face contorted slightly as Loki started to talk to him, 'Can't you hear them...? They care about you. Unlike the parents we had to deal with..unlike everyone at school. They care about you even if they act like jerks...' When he finished speaking, Loki threw a 'rock' into the nothingness that had taken over Thor's mind after the little three day fuck session.

"Are you in there?" Charis mumbled, still nuzzling Thor's shoulder. "I told you...we weren't gonna hurt you. Not like that..."

"Thor, come back to us, please..." Rokiri squeezed Charis' hand again as he rested his other hand ontop of Thor's head. "Please."

He could hear them, their voices getting closer.

Thor's gag reflex decided to kick in again, seeing as the tube was shoved down through his throat by a small hole in the tape. His eyes shot open as he writhed, choking on the tube that was supposed to be feeding him.

Charis jumped back in shock before coming closer again and gripping Thor by the shoulders, deftly removing the tape and tube. "Thor?"

"Thor honey? Can you hear us?" Rokiri helped Charis hold him steady.

The boy coughed several times, hard enough that he ended up coughing up blood. He wouldn't be able to talk even if he wanted to seeing as his throat was sore and his vocal cords felt like they were ripped up. Thor's eyes were darting about, as if he was scared that he was still chained up in the mess hall.

Charis clung to Thor, mumbling something reassuring and sitting still. "It's okay now. It's just us. We won't let anyone hurt you." Those stupid prisoners; he and Rokiri had said Thor was theirs. If he hadn't earned his place in this prison, he was going to earn it for what had happened to one of his.

"We'll protect you, don't worry." Rokiri gave Thor a comforting hug.

Thor's eyes started watering, the tears quickly streaming down his still dirtied face. A few silent sobs made their way through his throat. He wanted to move but he couldn't, he wanted to curl up or just take a shower.

Charis wiped off Thor's face and started rocking back and forth with Thor in his arms.

Rokiri joined in with Charis, humming a soft tune to soothe him.

Thor opened his mouth as if he was going to say something but all that came out were a few soft squeaks and awkward noises. 'I told you...' Loki smirked slightly, glad that Thor was getting attention for once.

Charis pulled away from Thor and stood up, cracking his knuckles. "I'm gonna get a week in solitary for this," he grumbled, marching out of the cell.

"WHICH OF YOU BASTARDS TOUCHED THOR!?" he screamed, not really listening for a response. Instead he ran through, hitting anyone he saw, hitting harder than such a skinny boy should be able to. By the time he finished, Charis himself was about ready to collapse and he could barely struggle when the guards dragged him to solitary.

Rokiri sadly watched Charis as he was dragged away, still holding Thor. He sighed sadly, looking at the boy. "It looks like it's just you and me."

Thor didn't really hear what either said, nor saw what Charis did seeing as he had just completely broke down and cried.

Locked alone in the soundproofed little cell, Charis began screaming. No one ever knew this happened to him, that isolation made him frightened and wild. For two weeks he was alone in the cell, screaming, crying, oftentimes huddled in a ball and just begging for them to free him. At the end of his sentence, his longest ever, he left shuddering, unable to forget his aloneness and act as he normally did upon leaving.

Like a ghost, he clung to Rokiri's cell bars. "Let me in," he said hoarsely.

Rokiri immediately ran to the bars and let Charis in, holding him. "Oh Charis darling... Are you all right?"

"Solitary," he whimpered, clinging to Rokiri. "Two weeks." He buried his face in Rokiri's shoulder, kissing it, desperate for the contact.

Thor was turned away from the front of the cell, though he was now looking and feeling much better. He had managed to befriend one of the nicer guards in the prison and in return, the boy had been given a paddle ball. Though seeing as he had been sentenced to wear his straight jacket untill he had stayed in the prison for a year, he ended up playing with the thing with his feet.

Which was quite amusing to see.
